Whole Boat Charter
Boat bookings are only accepted by one of the following two options:
- A. Deposit paid in advance and balance paid on arrival at the boat on the day of the trip
- B. Payment in full in advance
When the boat has been booked by one of the above methods, a legally binding contract then exists between the person making the booking (The Customer) and ourselves (Seadrive Charters) "Seadrive Charters" reserves the right to cancel the contract for any one of the following reasons:
- 1. Poor weather forecast which in the opinion of "Seadrive Charters" would be unsuitable for a boat trip
- 2. Mechanical or Electrical failure of any of the boats main systems, or similar
- 3. Skipper is indisposed due to ill health, or similar
- 4. In the opinion of the skipper that one or more passengers are unfit to travel due to intoxication, physical disability, mental disability or aggressive behaviour
Refunds
Except in the case of reason 4 above,
If the booking is cancelled by "Seadrive Charters" we will offer a refund
or an alternative date for the trip, "The Customer" will have the option to
choose which one they prefer,
If the booking is cancelled by "The Customer" then "Seadrive Charters" will
attempt to rebook the date with another customer, Only if we manage to
secure another booking for the cancellation will we then offer a
**refund**
(see below),
Any cancellation on behalf of the "The Customer" which occurs less than 14
days from the date of the trip will not be refunded,
Any cancellation of behalf of "The Customer" which occurs less than 7 days from the date of the trip will not be accepted by "Seadrive Charters".
Cancellations
Cancellations will only be accepted by "Seadrive Charters" if made by
"The Customer" in writing or by email.
If the email option is used to Cancel a booking, it will only be accepted by
an emailed response from us.

In the case of the original payment being made using our online "Paypal"
credit card option,
The amount refunded will be reduced by the amount that "Seadrive Charters"
was charged by "Paypal" for handling the transaction ("Paypal" currently
charge 3.5%), The refund will be made directly to the credit card used to
pay for the original transaction.

Boat Details
The Weymouth Angling Charter Boat 'Meerkat' is licensed by the Maritime
& Coastguard Agency.
This means we carry a full inventory of safety equipment onboard such as...
Self Launching and Self Inflating Liferaft,
Lifejackets for all passengers and crew, Flares, First Aid Kits etc. etc..
Also...
We have a proper private Toilet accessible from on deck,
In the Galley we have an Electric kettle and Microwave Oven, Gas Hob and Sink,
We will supply you hot Tea and Coffee (free of charge) at regular intervals throughout the day,
We have sheltered seating for all passengers and during the winter months the wheelhouse is heated!
Novices are always welcome aboard the 'Meerkat' and so too are children when accompanied by a responsible adult.
